It 's a sweet, kind of a mess in a mixture with butter + egg + flour + sugar + chopped almonds. (In the South, makes a croissant in the form of a crown with a lot of sugar on top!).
Inside lies a stone, usually a small personnage. Whoever finds it, becomes the King or Queen. To distribute the slices of cake, a child hiding under the table, and the adult asks him (after miscolato slices) "this is for those who slice"? the child responds, etc. .... So you never know in advance who will have the stone.
And when one wins the stone, becomes king (or queen) and he must lead la galette the following week, then at the end of January do we do not do more with your galette!
